Tourist-coast pricing
Like the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast carries a tourism premium — prices run above the Brisbane average, and Noosa typically sits at the very top of the range. The cheaper stations are inland and around the population centres of Maroochydore, Caloundra and Nambour, rather than the beachfront tourist strips.
It tracks the SEQ cycle
The Coast follows the same broad southeast Queensland discount cycle as Brisbane — a sharp jump then a slow grind down over several weeks — though the peak often holds a little longer here. Watch the Brisbane cycle position on PetrolPulse as a lead indicator and fill on the trough signal.
Live Queensland data
Queensland's mandatory price-reporting scheme keeps the data close to live across the stations from Caloundra up to Noosa. The widest gaps are between the coastal tourist strips and the inland stations near the Bruce Highway — a short detour off the beach often saves 10-15¢/L.
